The first team traveling to Brazil landed in Sao Paulo at around noon, which is about 9:00am Indy time. We were met by our very own Luciana Schulle and Pastor Arminio and friends from the church to help get us and our luggage back to where we are staying. When we arrived they had a delicious meal prepared for us before we unloaded and settled in.
As always, we have been warmly welcomed and are excited for all the Lord has in store for us. The men have scouted out the work site to see where to begin and the girls fixed our hair. Which is very important because it is warm and humid down here. :) But we are so excited.
Here are some ways to pray for us:
1. Pray that we sleep well tonight. Not all of us were able to sleep on the plane.
2. Pray for a smooth transition into a new culture.
3. Pray for sunshine so we can get a lot of work done.
4. Pray that we would be sensitive to what the Lord wants to do in and through us.
Thank you for your prayers! We will post pictures soon!
Thankfully,
Brazil Team 1
